Learning how to meditate may actually be easier than you think. This 14-day meditation challenge will help you begin your journey and cultivate a daily habit.

During these two weeks, the meditations are designed to progress, starting with 5 minutes and gradually lengthening in time. The first week focuses on the tools and techniques; practicing breathing; and finding your foundation. In week two, some movement and mantras are introduced for variety and focus.

By creating a daily practice, you can reduce stress, increase calmness, promote clarity, and increase your overall happiness. Meditation is about mindfulness and these two weeks will help you be more present and relaxed in your daily life.

Hi my name is Chloe Freytag, and welcome to our 14 day meditation challenge here at Get Healthy U TV. The purpose of this challenge is to help you build a sustainable meditation practice that you can carry on with you after these two weeks. And don't worry if you're a beginner because we're going to build this sequentially. So we'll start with just five minutes or so. And throughout these two weeks start to build and give you tools and different things you can utilize in your practice.

And by the end, we'll have a full 15 minute practice ready. So meditation, why? Right? What's the draw to it? And basically there's so much that meditation can offer you for your health or your mental health even your physical health.

But I think often we get a little overwhelmed by meditation because we think it needs to be this big experience and it can be really simple and really basic. And especially the point of it is if you do it every day, even just for five minutes that's going to have a longer lasting impact than say doing this big 30 minute meditation once a month, right? So we're going to build a really sustainable, really accessible meditation practice here for you. And I'm sure you're going to see a lot of benefits throughout your life in many different ways through the process. So what you will need is basically just commitment.

Right? The ability to come every day and sit down, and also having whatever you need to be comfortable. So ideally the more length you can create in your spine, the better. So if that's sitting on a pillow possibly, can also be sitting in a chair with your feet flat on the floor. We'll talk about different sitting positions as well throughout our meditation journey.

Because it is a journey, right? It is something we're going to kind of progress through. And I'm sure you're going to learn a lot in the process. So join me for this 14 day meditation challenge. I'm so excited to share it with you.
