Description

After you’ve completed your Sweating Sexy workouts, you’ll want to slow things down with a gentle cool down. You can use this cool down after your Sweating Sexy workouts or as a nice series of stretches after any of your other Get Healthy U TV workouts. Similar to the Sweating Sexy Warm Up, this Cool Down will use gentler, isolated movements to stretch out your body and help it relax after all that hard work.

After our dance workouts, you’ll want to slowly bring your elevated heart rate down, and this cool down will do just that. Jennifer will have you do some full body roll-ups and some hamstring stretches, as well as hip and feet stretches to make sure you get a nice, total-body stretch. She’ll also provide some gentle modifications if you need to adjust any of these dancer stretches to meet your fitness level.

This five-minute cool down will take care of everything in your body, from your back and shoulders, to your legs and arms. You’ll release all the heat that you’ve been building during those intense dance workout classes and help your body recover. Incorporating some stretches from yoga, Pilates and dance, this cool-down would be a great bookend to our other Barre workouts or even Ballet workouts.

Jennifer will give you the proper form for each stretch, encouraging you to release into each movement, allowing your body to relax after all your hard work! Some slight balance work will be incorporated to help you open up your glutes and hips with a few yoga-inspired movements.

A proper cool down is so important after any workout, but especially dance where you’ve elevated your heart rate and perhaps used different muscle groups than you’re used to.

With this Sweating Sexy Cool Down, you’ll give your body a nice, gentle stretch to help you rest after an invigorating dance session!
